Wendy was born and raised in San Jose, CA and moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 2013. The area was always a favorite place to visit, and she has been happy to put down roots here.
Wendy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from Oregon State University. Before joining Monterey County Regional Fire District, she spent 7 years working for a Salinas accounting firm. Prior to that, she was the Controller of a semiconductor company in Silicon Valley where she worked for 13 years.
Wendy has a passion for volunteerism. Along with volunteering for many community activities and events over the years, she has served on various boards and committees as Vice President, Treasurer and Advisory Board Chairman.
Wendy is an avid golfer and in her spare time is often out on the course enjoying the walk and the fresh air. She also enjoys playing Mah Jongg, traveling and especially sharing time with family and friends.
