Karry was raised in the Prunedale-Salinas area, where she was very involved in a local 4-H club and county fairs, softball and color guard. She graduated from North Monterey County High School in 1983 and attended Hartnell College. She came to work for Monterey County Regional Fire District in January 2008, after 25 years of banking experience as a Financial Service Representative.
Karry lives in Prunedale with her two daughters, and various animals. She enjoys spending time in her yard, country dancing, horseback riding, camping, outdoor activities and being with her family and good friends.
