Division Chief Ron Lemos grew up in Carmel Valley and began his fire service as a volunteer firefighter with the newly formed Mid Carmel Valley Fire District in 1976.
Chief Lemos worked his way through the ranks of Firefighter, Engineer, Captain and Battalion Chief before starting his full-time career in 1998. He was promoted to Division Chief in 2001, following a consolidation with Carmel Valley Fire District.
Chief Lemos attended Carmel High School and Monterey Peninsula College and has earned many accredited certifications through out his career in Fire Service. He also has been active on many professional committees, memberships and youth sports.
Chief Lemos resides in Carmel Valley with his wife of thirty years and has two grown children and one grandson. His hobbies include going to the lake with his family, fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
